I love JRB's Restaurant. This is one of the best hidden gems in the whole valley. Great quality, portion size & the homemade taste is to die for. Their Roast Turkey Dinner, Huge Meatloaf dinner, Grinders ( a legit 14-15 inches), soups, gravy....their has YET to be a single time I have been disappointed with any item. Go give them a try in Ansonia & you will surely be back !!

We tried this place last year and the staff was amazing. All of the food is good. The portions are very large. I liked the soup the most!!! Tasted home made.
I got the ziti with meat sauce and it was vary good. They had HUGE portions, I could barely eat half of my meal. Overall it was excellent and I would go there a again.
Small unassuming diner. Pay at the counter. One big TV playing History channel. Bit lonely but overall perfect diner experience.
I love this place... Great hospitality, the food is amazing and the bartender was so sweet to me and my husband, we really enjoyed being there...i recommend this place 100 stars. I also went there this past father's day and the food still was great. Rest in peace to the owner, my condolences to the family.
Food was awesome I couldn't believe the size of their wedges, Hoagies whatever you want to call them. They have to be two feet long and I'm not kidding. The owner is There all the time his name is John. This place has great food is family-orientated it is a win-win so stop on down have some to eat and say hi to John. The barmaid is very nice too, very friendly easy to talk to and she's beautiful LOL
